I want to share my chiropractor with all of you. Dr Emily Taylor with Chiropractique Family Wellness Center, in Edmond, Oklahoma is a treasure. I have been working with her side by side for about 2 months now, and I am pleased to say, I have yet to find anyone else that has taken such great care of her patients. Her passion for Chiropractic care and her heart for healing and wellness is only exceeded by her professionalism in and out of her clinic. She has brought my pain that I have suffered with for years, to an only occasional flare up in only a few short weeks of treatment. I am blessed for knowing her, and so lucky she has chosen to have me work with her out of her clinic. So greatful for her expertise and wisdom, and I will continue to refer all my patients to her, knowing that they will be tremendously cared for. Thanks Dr. Taylor, you are a blessing to your profession.

Western civilisation has only recently discovered the gentle art of baby massage, something that other cultures have been practicing for thousands of years. Touch is so powerful that it has crept into our language. We use phrases like “to get the feel of…”, “to get in touch…”, “to be able to handle…”

There are a lot of books, leaflets and videos on how to do baby massage, and there is more than one ‘right’ way to do it. There are however some positions and movements that babies enjoy more than others, particularly very young babies, and knowing about these makes the massage more enjoyable.

I’ll admit it – I was very skeptical at first.

Sure, I love massages and I believe wholeheartedly in the therapeutic benefits of massage, but a seaweed wrap? Really? It detoxes AND shrinks you instantly?

Yeah… right…

Still, when I went to visit Brook Sloat for the first time, it was for the seaweed wrap. I had a dance competition in Las Vegas in a few days and wanted to look my absolute best, so I thought I’d give this miracle wrap a chance.

Someone had mentioned that she lost a inch or so around her hips, belly, arms, etc., from the wrap. I thought I’d give it a try, skeptical though I was.

I’m here to tell you – I’m a believer now.

Brook measured my arms, thighs, waist and hips BEFORE the wrap and after. Besides being painted with seaweed (which was soothing) and wrapped in plastic, the seaweed smelled and felt pretty good.

When it was over with, I lost nearly an inch around the arms and thighs and close to THREE inches around my hips! FANTASTIC!!!

Not only did the wrap work instantly, I kept the effect for many days by drinking lots of water and watching my diet.

HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a detox that’s not only enjoyable, but effective as well.

I never liked massages until I went to Brook! She really LISTENED to what was wrong with me, and understood where she could/couldn’t massage at and really was gentle with me. Before I knew Brook, I went to another competitor and I was so sick afterwardsb/c they took it upon themselves to do a pressure point massage b/c of the knots in my neck (which has a lot of issues as well) instead of listening that it really hurt… needless to say I was in such pain and so sick that it made it worse. When I told Brookabout this, she understood my issues and gently worked through everything! I would recommend her to anyone, and HAVE. She truly cares and understands the patients’ needs VS what she thinks should happen like the competitor.

alright, so now i’m crying. in a good way.. here’s a testimonial from my great friend/client Kat Miller…

I have dealt in some way or another, with back pain as long as I can remember. I won’t go into tons of detail but I also struggle with many health problems, and have had WAY too many surgeries already!! I live with chronic headache syndrome and migraines. Instead of loading up on medications, I visit Brook’s Healing Place. Brook really works with you on what your specific physical ailments are and together, with you, will come up with a massage treatment plan. She listens to her customers and finds the right techniques and pressure to meet your needs. I leave the salon totally relaxed, and most importantly pain free.

Brook has an amazing healing spirit, who has an acute awareness of the body and understands how to promote healing.
